I have a copy of a page I collected in our travels that lists this name spelled 31 different ways, and my name is spelled Polmanteer, and this spelling of the name was not included in the list. The author of this page collected the spellings from Census records 1790 -1940. If I had a dollar for every time I spelled my last name I would be a wealthy man.
